*Have a feeling this is a 1803 problem - lame. *Failing above nuke, will try with Windows 10 1709, to confirm this is a 1803 issue. *Nuking laptop and installing from fresh, will report back after I try. *Unencrypting drive fully (cos I didn't want to lose data) then clearing TPM, disabling, rebooting and enabling TPM again, in BIOS. *Clearing TPM with the Windows Settings prompt (like in OP) I did a in place upgrade from the last version (17whatever) to 1803, which then kiboshed my TPM (was working fine before upgrade) - lame. You will lose all created keys and access data encryption by these keys. Warning clearing erases information started on the TPM. I go into windows defender to view security dashboard to view device settings to security processor to ignore the request for the TPM and it is fixed but again when I restart to asked the same question over and over.Ī configuration change was requested to clean this computers TPM( trusted platform module). I have done this numerous times on every restart. A configuration change was requested to clean this computers TPM( trusted platform module). After updating to windows 10 version 1803 this comes up after I log in.
